On 15 April 2022, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) approved a temporary increase in the duty-free (exemption) threshold to EUR 1,000 (or 31 kg) for goods that are imported by individuals for personal use, which applies until 1 October 2022. This is similar to the increase approved in March 2022, although according to the release on the latest approval, the threshold is increased from EUR 500 (or 25 kg), as opposed to being increased from EUR 200 as noted in the release on the earlier approval.
