The US Senate has ratified the protocols to the US income and capital tax treaty with France, both signed on 8 December 2004. The ratification by the US Senate was by unanimous consent on 31 March 2006, and followed approval of the protocols by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on 14 March 2006.
