The UK has published the Tonnage Tax (Further Opportunity for Election) Order 2023. As announced in the Spring Budget 2023, the government is allowing shipping companies to benefit from reforms to the Tonnage Tax by opening an election window that permits shipping companies to elect for the regime, including companies that previously left the Tonnage Tax regime.
