UK HMRC has announced that reporting rules for digital platforms based on the OECD's Model Reporting Rules will be introduced from January 2024. The announcement was made in Agent Update: issue 96, published 19 May 2022. New provisions were introduced as part of the Finance Act 2021 to enable the implementation of the model rules, requiring digital platforms to report information on the income of their sellers to HMRC.
