UK HMRC has launched a public consultation on modernizing and improving its approach to dispute resolution, by helping taxpayers identify and access the quickest and most appropriate method of dispute resolution for their circumstances. The consultation covers: The existing taxpayer journey and dispute resolution processes Reforms to improve support and guidance for customers going through a compliance intervention; Reforms to simplify and align processes; and Reforms to improve access to alternative dispute resolution. The consultation closes at 11:59 pm on 7 July 2025.
