On 19 March 2018, the United Arab Emirates president issued the federal decrees for the ratification of: The income tax treaty with Cameroon, which was signed on 13 July 2017 ({News-2018-03-08/T/4-previous coverage}); The income tax treaty with Ecuador, which was signed on 9 November 2016 ({News-2017-08-22/T/2-previous coverage}); and The income and capital tax treaty with Saint Kitts and Nevis, which was signed on 24 November 2016 ({News-2017-05-24/T/7-previous coverage}). Each of the three treaties will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will generally apply from 1 January of the year following their entry into force.
