United States-Armenia

According to recent reports, the U.S. Treasury has confirmed that negotiations will begin for an income tax treaty with Armenia. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind directly between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force. Currently, the U.S. continues to apply the 1973 tax treaty with the former Soviet Union in respect of Armenia, although Armenia generally does not.
