In an op-ed piece published 13 September 2016, U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew says that there is a growing bipartisan consensus on the need to reform the U.S. business tax system, and that the European Commission’s State aid investigations have further highlighted the issue and created additional urgency.
