Executive Report 117-1 from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the pending 2010 income and capital tax treaty with Chile has been published. The report follows the Committee's approval of the treaty on 29 March 2022 and includes an overview of the purpose of the treaty, the major provisions, etc. As noted in the report, the Committee urges the Senate to act promptly to give advice and consent to ratification of the treaty, as set forth in the report and the accompanying resolution of advice and consent.
