The U.S. House Appropriations Committee has announced the release of the Fiscal Year 2025 State and Foreign Operations Appropriations Bill. Notably, the bill would terminate several "unnecessary programs" including funding for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The move is primarily a result of Republican opposition to the OECD's two-pillar solution.
