The U.S. Congressional Research Services (CRS) has published an updated report (legal sidebar) on Section 301 Tariffs on Goods from China: International and Domestic Legal Challenges. The tariffs on Chinese goods were introduced by the U.S. in 2018 following a Section 301 investigation by the USTR into China's acts, policies, and practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation.
