On 19 February 2025, the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) published an alert on its BOI webpage providing an update on beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting requirements. The alert announces that the BOI reporting requirements are back in effect following an 18 February decision by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in which the Court agreed to stay its earlier order for a nationwide injunction.
