The income and capital tax treaty between Spain and the United Kingdom will enter into force on June 12th, 2014. Originally signed in March 2013, the treaty replaces the treaty signed between the countries in 1975 and includes the following withholding rates: Dividends - 0% when the beneficial owner is a company that holds at least 10% of the paying company's capital, 15% if paid out of income derived directly or indirectly from immovable property by an investment vehicle that distributes most of this income annually and whose income from such property is tax exempt, otherwise 10% Interest - 0%...
