The income and capital tax treaty and protocol between Italy and Slovenia, signed on 11 September 2001, entered into force on 12 January 2010. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2011. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Italy-former Yugoslavia income and capital tax treaty of 24 February 1982, in respect of relations between Italy and Slovenia
