The income and capital tax treaty and protocol between Bulgaria and Germany, signed on 25 January 2010, entered into force on 21 December 2010. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2011. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Bulgaria–Germany income and capital tax treaty of 2 June 1987.
