The Thai Revenue Department has announced an extension of the deadlines for certain return filings due to COVID-19. This includes that the deadline for filing the annual personal income tax return for 2020 is extended from the standard 31 March deadline to 30 June 2021. Further, it is provided that for income tax withholding and VAT returns due for February to June 2021, the deadlines are extended from the 15th day of the following month (7th for paper filing) to the last day of the following month. For the extensions to apply, all returns must be filed electronically.
