The Thai government has announced the approval of incentives for Thai nationals working overseas who return to work in Thailand. The incentives were approved by the Cabinet on 30 July 2024 and include a reduction in the top individual income tax rate to 17% for returning Thai nationals who work in target industries. Conditions for the incentive include that qualifying individuals must have at least a bachelor's degree and must have worked abroad for at least two years.
