The Thai Revenue Department has announced that the Cabinet has approved an extension of the VAT exemption on imports and donations of medical goods used to treat, diagnose, and prevent COVID-19 when donated to government hospitals, government agencies, and qualified public charities and medical facilities. The exemption was previously provided up to 31 March 2022 and is now further provided from 1 April 2022 to 31 December 2022.
