According to an update from the Swiss Federal Council, the income tax treaty with Oman entered into force on 13 October 2016. The treaty, signed 22 May 2015, is the first of its kind between the two countries. Taxes Covered The treaty covers Omani income tax and Swiss federal, cantonal, and communal taxes on income.
