San Marino's Ministry of Foreign and Political Affairs has announced that officials from Kyrgyzstan and San Marino met on 26 September 2018 to discuss bilateral relations and agreed to begin negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two counties, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
