According to an update from the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department, officials from Hong Kong and Ukraine will meet from 12 to 16 July 2021 for the first round of negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
