According to an announcement by the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance, a new income and capital tax treaty was signed by officials from Bulgaria and the United Kingdom on 26 March 2015. The new treaty will enter into force after the ratification instruments have been exchanged. Once in force and effective, it will replace the 1987 income and capital tax treaty between the two countries, which is currently in force. Additional details will be published once available.
