On 25 July 2014, the income and capital tax treaty between Luxembourg and Taiwan enter into force. It was signed 19 December 2011, and will apply from 1 January 2015. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries. Taxes Covered The treaty covers Luxembourg individual income tax, corporation tax, capital tax, and communal trade tax.
