The Slovenia Parliament approved the law ratifying its tax information exchange agreement (TIEA) with Jersey on 11 April 2014, and the law was gazetted on 9 May. The agreement was signed 28 November 2013 and ratified by Jersey on 4 February 2014. It covers all taxes of both countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged. The agreement will apply for criminal tax matters from the date of its entry into force and apply for all other matters for tax periods beginning on or after that date.
