The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore has announced that the tax information exchange agreement with the U.S. will enter into force on 5 March 2020. The agreement, signed 13 November 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and applies for requests made on or after the date of entry into force concerning information for taxes relating to taxable periods beginning on or after 1 January 2021.
