The tax information exchange agreement between Monaco and the UK entered into force on 22 April 2015. The agreement was signed by Monaco on 23 December 2014 and by the United Kingdom on 22 October 2014. It is the first of its kind between the two countries. The agreement applies for criminal tax matters from the date of its entry into force, and for all other matters for taxable periods beginning on or after that date.
