According to a recent update by the Jersey government, the tax information exchange agreement between Jersey and Switzerland entered into force on 14 October 2014. The agreement, signed 16 September 2013, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and is in line with the OECD standard for information exchange. The agreement applies for requests made on or after the date of its entry into force regarding tax periods beginning on or after 1 January 2015.
