Switzerland has decided to terminate the bilateral agreements with Hong Kong and Singapore for the automatic exchange of financial account information. The agreements will be terminated with effect from 1 January 2025. The bilateral agreements are being terminated because the automatic exchange of information with the two jurisdictions has been implemented through multilateral agreements from 1 January 2024, including the Mutual Assistance Convention and the CRS MCAA.
