Slovenia has published the Law of 13 July 2021 on measures to mitigate the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, which extends certain prior support measures for COVID-19. One of the main measures is an extension of the VAT and import tax exemption for the supplies of protective and medical equipment. Previously provided from 1 November 2020 to 30 April 2021, the law extends the exemption so that it applies for supplies made from 1 May to 31 December 2021.
