On 11 July 2016, Singapore's Ministry of Finance (MoF) published a public consultation on draft Income Tax (International Tax Compliance Agreements) (Common Reporting Standard) Regulations 2016, which provides for the implementation in Singapore of the OECD Common Reporting Standard for the automatic exchange of financial account information. Singapore has committed to begin automatic exchange in 2018. Click the following link for the consultation page on the MoF website for additional information. Comments are due by 29 July 2016.
