From April 21st to the 23rd, 2014, officials from the countries included in the Central American Customs Union (CACU) met for the second round of negotiations. The countries of the Union include Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The main topics of the meeting were the standardization of the procedures of the Central American customs form, the international transit of goods and the Central American single customs declaration. The agreement for the CACU was originally signed in March 2008.
