On 13 September 2022, Rwanda's Chamber of Deputies (lower house of parliament) approved the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the Republic of the Congo. The treaty, signed 24 November 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
