On 13 June 2019, the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska approved a law for the introduction of a social security refund incentive for companies that increase salaries for their employees. The incentive provides that with effect from 1 July 2019, employers are entitled to request a refund of social security contributions paid on the difference between a base monthly salary amount (employee salary as of March 2019) and the increased salary.
