Puerto Rico's Treasury Department has issued Administrative Determination No. 21-04 of 23 March 2021, which postpones the deadline for filing income tax returns for 2020 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The determination provides that taxpayers normally required to submit their return by 15 April 2021 (calendar year taxpayers) now have until 17 May 2021 to submit their return and pay any balance owed.
