The amending protocol, signed on 7 September 2009, to the Switzerland-United Kingdom, income tax treaty of 8 December 1977 as amended by the 1981, 1993 and 2007 protocols, entered into force on 15 December 2010. The protocol generally applies from 1 January 2011 and 15 December 2013 for the provisions on arbitration.
