On 11 January 2013, the amending protocol, signed on 12 September 2012 , to the Singapore - Vietnam Income Tax Treaty (1994), entered into force. The protocol generally applies from 11 January 2013 for the provision on exchange of information and from 1 January 2014 for withholding and other taxes.
