On 5 November 2013, the amending protocol, signed on 15 November 2011, to the Oman - South Africa Income Tax Treaty (2002), entered into force. The protocol generally applies from 1 January 2014, with exception of Articles 2 and 3 of the protocol, which apply from 1 April 2012.
