On 31 January 2014, the amending protocol, signed on 12 June 2013, to the Netherlands - United Kingdom Income Tax Treaty (2008), entered into force. The protocol generally applies from the following dates: The Netherlands: - 1 January 2015; The United Kingdom: - 6 April 2014: for income and capital gains taxes; - 1 April 2014: for corporation taxes.
