On 24 December 2012, the amending protocol, signed on 24 June 2009, to the Belgium - United Kingdom Income Tax Treaty (1987) entered into force. The effecitve dates are as follows: a)   Belgium:       -   1 January 2013.       b)   United Kingdom:       -   1 April 2013 for corporation taxes; -   6 April 2013 for icome and capital gains taxes; and -   1 January 2013 for petroleum revenue taxes. -     -
