On 22 August 2014, the protocol to the 2001 income and capital tax treaty between Luxembourg and Slovenia entered into force. The protocol was signed 20 June 2013, and updates the article on exchange of information to bring it in line with OECD standards. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty, and applies from 1 January 2015.
