On 25 October 2024, officials from Argentina and Luxembourg signed an amending protocol to the 2019 income and capital tax treaty. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty, which has not yet entered into force. The treaty and the protocol will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following their entry into force. Details of the protocol will be published once available.
