According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Austria met on 14 July 2023 to sign an MoU for a youth work mobility scheme and discuss other issues of bilateral interest such as the negotiations for an income tax treaty. With respect to the negotiations, it is noted that progress has been made with the initiation of the first technical rounds of work to structure the treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
