Portugal has published Circular Letter No. 30237/2021 of 22 June 2021, concerning changes in the VAT rate for businesses operating in the Azores autonomous region. As previously reported, the 2021 budget measures for the Azores region were approved by Regional Legislative Decree No. 15-A/2021/A, which was published in the Official Gazette on 31 May 2021 and provides for a 30% reduction in national VAT rates.
