Portugal's Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs has issued Order No. 29/2024-XXIV of 14 June 2024, which provides an extension of the deadline for the submission of the Simplified Business Information / Annual Declaration of Accounting and Tax Information (Informação Empresarial Simplificada / Declaração Anual de Informação Contabilística e Fiscal - IES/DA) for the 2023 tax period without any penalties. The deadline has been extended from 15 July to 31 July 2024. The extension was provided considering the earlier extension of the deadline for the submission of the Annual Corporate Tax Return (Modelo 22) for 2023 to 15 July 2024.
