On 23 March 2021, the Norwegian parliament approved for ratification the pending income tax treaty with Ghana. The treaty, signed 20 November 2020, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
