Nigeria's Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) issued a public notice via X (formerly Twitter) on 15 January 2024 announcing that it has postponed the implementation of the Guidelines on the Simplified Compliance Regime for VAT for Non-Resident Suppliers with respect to goods.
