On 14 December 2014, the Nigerian Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) issued a press release announcing the launch of the Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) e-filing platform. In order to use the ITAS e-filing platform, taxpayers must first submit an application form to their tax office, who will then issue a username and password.
