On 21 February 2019, Morocco published in the Official Gazette the decree for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Bangladesh ({News-2018-04-23/T/4-previous coverage}). The treaty, signed 28 February 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply in Bangladesh from 1 July of the year following its entry into force and in Morocco from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
