Montenegro's Tax Administration has announced an extension of the deadline for filing corporate income tax returns and financial statements from 31 March 2020 to 15 April 2020, due to COVID-19. The filing of returns and statements must be done exclusively electronically. The tax administration has also announced additional businesses support measures in response to COVID-19. This includes the possible deferral of the payment of individual income taxes (on salaries) and social security contributions for up to 90 days. Further, taxpayers that settle their corporate income tax liabilities by the legal deadline are entitled to a 6% deduction.
