Moldova has reportedly expressed its interest in beginning negotiations for amending protocols to several of its current tax treaties, including the 1994 treaty with Belarus, the 2004 treaty with Kyrgyzstan, the 2003 treaty with the Slovak Republic, the 2002 treaty with Tajikistan, and the 2013 treaty with Turkmenistan, and the 1995 treaty with Uzbekistan. Any resulting protocols would be the first to amend the respective treaties and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
